This morning after freshening up I grabbed “Khaleej Times” – the local daily newspaper sipping away hot tea. The first page shouted volumes – “US embassies under attack”; murder case against ……; gold hits 6- month high. The headlines were hard hitting sending shivers into my spine.
I got ready and got into my car. Somehow someone had double parked, blocking my exit. I honked and honked but no one came to my rescue. I kicked the car door and swear abuses.
No sooner I got out of the parking, there was a traffic jam 20 meters away. I could see two drivers swearing abuses at each other at the top of their lungs.
Does the above scenario seem familiar ? Well this is how my day started and am sure some of you unlucky souls would share similar experiences.
What does the above three incidence reflect ? It may reflect a powerful burst of emotions but on the flip-side it reiterates that we are continuously feeding junk food to our mental soul.
Here I am reminded of four monkeys; MIZARU, covering his eyes, who sees no evil; KIKAZARU, covering his ears, who hears no evil; IWAZARU, covering his mouth, who speaks no evil and a fourth monkey SHIZARU, crossing his arms symbolizes the principle of “do no evil”. These words of wisdom may seem feeble but if you ever follow this philosophy you will sooner see a positive change in you in as little as 3 weeks.
